Looking for a quiet place to chill or to enjoy your meal? (Not too sure if it's quiet any more cause with the circle line it's even more convenient to get there) Holland Village has a secret gem! It is located on the second level, right above Thai Express. Mu Parlour is all about the all day brunch, gourmet cheese burgers, coffee/tea and desserts.
The first thing you will notice upon entering after a flight of stairs would be the beautiful dessert counter with lots of yummy desserts!! The café's concept brings forth an arty-farty feel with a blend of modern classic to its furniture. Love the ambience! On a bad note, I have to admit the waiting time for food to arrive is slow, even though my friends and I were the only ones dinning there.
Lemon meringue tart [$8]
Thumbs up for their dessert!! Lemon was not too sour and the crust was oh-so-crispy.
Tip: It's more worth it to top up $9 to make it a meal with when you ordered a main course.

Cafe Swiss located in Swissotel/Raffles Shopping Centre serves decent international buffet lunch, with a capacity of 210 dine in restaurant. The restaurant uses natural lighting from its overhead glass roof thus it can get pretty warm on a hot day. As the name of the restaurant says it, settings are towards the Swinish style and taste. Cafe Swiss is divided into four portion, namely desserts/cheese, mains/soups, cold dishes/raw, pasta/gourmet meat.
Though the food selection isn't much but it serves slightly better quality of food. Not all the dishes were well done but it could be festive period then. I had a 1-for-1 deal then so I felt money worthy, however I would consider twice if I were to paid the original amount to dine here.
A must have chocolate fondue at every buffet restaurant
Authentic Swiss gourmets
Soupy section with DIY (do-it-yourself) noodles and two types of soup
Moving off to the cold section. From sashimi to sushi to fresh mussels and prawns.
Salad bar
The cold dishes includes potato salad, pasta salad, smoked salmon/tuna salad and beans.
Towards the popular section, the gourmet meats are served by the chef.
Over here are the German sausages, chicken pistachio terrine with grilled portobello salad.
Choose your type of pasta and the chef will cook it for you, after which you choose between creamy or tomato base for your pasta.
