It’s all about health conscious nowadays don’t you think? Even our Prime Minister Lee is advocating Singaporeans to drinking and eating healthy. If eating is what you do best (just like me), try to incorporate healthy food into your diet. I can only think of one right now, and that’s the super fruit – avocado!

I wasn’t a big fan of avocado previously, it’s over the years where dishes started having avocado in them and that’s when I started gaining my likes for them. Before you know it, avocado dishes are everywhere. You’ve got avocado toast, avocado smoothie, and eggs ben with avocado.

But why avocado?

They are natural and nutritionally rich whole food, and it is safe for people of all ages to consume.
They are packed with nutrients, antioxidants, anti-inflammatory, and contain good healthy fats. Nearly 20 nutrients and phytonutrients can be found in this small fruit and best of all, it’s low in calories, cholesterol-free and rich in vitamins.
They are being recognised for managing high blood cholesterol, metabolic syndrome, decreasing the risk of diabetes and other coronary heart/artery diseases.
They are a great source of fibre. It helps improve bowel movements and makes you feel fuller while you eat lesser. Shred that extra kilo around your waist with the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K.

Fun fact: a ripe avocado is usually in a darker shade, almost like dark brown/green. You can also press the tip/stem of the avocado if you can press it down means it's ripe.

After you are done choosing the toppings, next is to pick out your favourite crust. In Domino’s, they are specialised and trained in hand tossed crust, and is made fresh upon order. They are functioned in a concrete system therefore all the dough and even the ingredients such as cheese and meat are weighted to ensure consistency in all pizzas. The crust consists of Classic Hand Tossed, Crunchy Thin, New York, Cheese and Cheesy Crusts.

Domino’s is the first pizza company in Singapore to introduce the Great Pizza Service Tracker (GPS Tracker) for online ordering. It provides consumers the connectivity to view the status of their orders while being on the go. I have tried that and I think it is so efficient, because you can gauge the arrival timing and you could even go for a shower and not miss that doorbell.
