1 Market by Celebrity Chef-Chef Wan, a halal-certified buffet restaurant in Singapore serving one of the largest variety of authentic Halal Asian cuisines with recipes by the Chef himself.. The 450-seater restaurant boost a gastronomic buffet spread of appetizer, salad, seafood, grill, casserole, hotpot & desserts helmed with recipes blasting with Malaysian, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian & Middle Eastern flavours.

I usually like to start with the desserts section :) Nonya Kuehs!

During this March, 1 Market is having Nyonya Fair, with 10 traditional Peranakan dishes added to the existing buffet spread!

Chocolate fondue with creative marshmallow on sticks for easy gripping.

Not all buffet restaurants serves quality Chawanmushi, this is pretty good.

The cold dishes section

The cold seafood section. Prawns are rather fresh! Sadly I couldn't find the scissors if not I would go for the snow crab legs too.

Nonya Fair Alert
Bibik’s Roasted Whole Duck (Bibik is often referred to as aunt)- The duck is first rubbed with a melange of spices and together they lend wonderful flavours to the meat. The crispy crackling will certainly have patrons coming back for more.

You may also find the other Peranakan dishes as they are being shuffled weekly, such as Peranakan egg omelette,  Ayam Buah Keluak, Bibik’s Seafood Fried Rice with Belacan, Traditional Nyonya Laksa, and Peranakan Sop Sayur Asin.

Hot dishes section, and my favourite-go-to dish is the Crayfish. It's so fresh and succulent, and it's  always empty so make sure you get the right timing.

The Wok-fry Beef with Black Pepper is also the bomb!

Over here is the pasta fare.

 Followed by the Indian cuisine, featuring curry and plain naan. Not my kind of naan, I preferred the garlic naan.

Satay with the best complemented sauces.
